MAcc Application and Admissions Information
How to Apply:
A. Complete your application online.
Attach the following documents as part of your application:
Admissions Essay: In approximately 500 words, please discuss the factors that influenced you to pursue a Master of Accountancy (MAcc) degree at Millsaps College. Discuss how the MAcc will be most helpful in your career development and how you will contribute to the program. PDF format is preferred.
Two references who can speak to your ability to succeed in graduate school. You will need to provide their names and email addresses. It is preferred that one recommender be a faculty member.
B. GMAT Score sent directly to Millsaps College. We also accept GRE scores as a substitution. A GMAT Waiver is available (see below).
C. Interview with the Director of Graduate Admissions.
The GMAT will be waived under the following conditions; you must meet all conditions:
Enrolled or graduated from an AACSB accredited institution OR a member of the ACS (Associated Colleges of the South).
Major in Accounting, earning a B- or better in each of the courses that comprise of the major.
Earn a C- or better in Statistics.
Overall GPA is 3.2 or higher.
Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis; however, to qualify for scholarships and graduate assistantships, applicants must meet the Round 1 deadline. Any remaining funding will be awarded by the Round 2 date.
