Jump Start Program

The Jump Start Program is designed to provide early access to essential leveling courses, equipping you with the foundational knowledge required for the Executive MBA program. The three online courses will help ease your transition back into academic life.

Admitted students who pay the $1,000 program deposit will be able to access these courses beginning July 1, 2024:

Excel for MBA Students (optional)

This course is available if you feel you need to improve your Excel proficiency. Proficiency in Excel is vital to your success in many courses, including:

• Financial Accounting for Leaders
• Financial Management I & II
• Decision Making Under Uncertainty
• Analytics

*Students with prior coursework in these areas may waive these courses with the approval of the Associate Dean.

Business Math and Statistics (required)

Students must complete the Business Math and Statistics leveling course with a score of 70 percent or better on the final exam to be eligible for enrollment in Decision Making Under Uncertainty. This course will prepare you success in:

• Decision Making Under Uncertainty
• Analytics

Financial Accounting (required)

Students must complete the Financial Accounting course with a score of 70 percent or better on the final exam to be eligible for enrollment in Financial Accounting for Leaders. This course will prepare you for success in:

• Financial Accounting for Leaders
• Financial Management I & II

* Students must complete each leveling course prior to the start of the EMBA course listed. Students must earn a score of 70 percent or better on the end of the course exam to be considered complete. Students may take the exam up to three times.
